Across the course of three days, Servite College welcomed Year 4 students from seven different primary schools to join us for STEM Week.
Throughout the day, the students worked with Year 8 student leaders to design, build, test and improve a catapult using basic equipment such as popsticks, tape and elastic bands.
The activity incorporated elements of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, sparking their curiosity and encouraging students to collaborate with each other, while thinking critically and creatively.
Thank you to those schools who participated and to all the students – they embraced the challenge with a lot of enthusiasm and fun!
