Dear Parents and Caregivers,
It is with great joy and excitement that I extend a special welcome to the new families joining Servite College in 2026, and a warm welcome back to our returning families, as I begin my role as College Principal. I am immensely proud to be leading this wonderful community, and my time here thus far has been both affirming and inspiring. At the end of 2025 and in the early weeks of this year, I have had the privilege of meeting several parents, students and staff, and of joining staff for the College’s final Mass last year. I am sincerely grateful for the generous welcome and kind words I have received, which so clearly reflect the strong sense of community for which Servite is rightly known.
I have already spent time with the College Executive commencing planning for the year ahead, and I am greatly encouraged by the shared commitment, care and ambition that exists within the leadership team. Early this year, we will also be launching our new Strategic Plan 2026–2028. As many of you will be aware, this plan is the result of an extensive consultation process involving students, staff, parents, Servite Friars, the College Council and the wider community. It provides an exciting and purposeful blueprint for the future of the College, and I feel both privileged and energised to be entrusted with leading its implementation.
In addition, 2026 marks the commencement of Stage 2 of our Master Plan, with works scheduled to begin in February. While there will be no disruption to student learning, as with any significant building project there will be some impacts on day-to-day operations. These will include modified access to certain areas of the College and some limitations around pick-up and drop-off arrangements. We appreciate that these changes may at times be inconvenient, and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we prioritise safety and work together through this important period of growth and renewal.
Each year at Servite College, we focus intentionally on a particular Servite charism and value. Guiding us in 2026 is the Servite charism of Community and the value of Respect. This theme will underpin our learning, our relationships and our daily interactions. Respect calls us to recognise that our love of God is expressed through love of others, pride in our work, commitment to learning, and care for our College community. Throughout the year, we will continue to explore and deepen this focus with our community, as we seek to live our Servite values in practical and meaningful ways.

Reflecting on the achievements of 2025, I extend my congratulations to the graduating class of 2025 for their outstanding results. We are extremely proud of everything they achieved. Our students excelled in many areas, with the following highlights:

Additionally, 1884 hours of workplace learning hours for Year 12 were completed, and 33 students successfully achieved UniReady, with a 100% success rate for the class cohort. These achievements reflect the dedication and resilience of our students, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work.

College Improvements
- Refurbishment of the Dance Studio and Pathways Office
- Demolition of 139 Cape Street and road base to create additional parking.
- Clearing the front yard of 8 Morgans St to create additional parking
- Installation of frosting with Priory Logos to HoC’s offices
- Installation Priory Pin Board outside the ARC
Further communication will be provided next week outlining details of the commencement of works within the Gymnasium and Montorsoli building zone. Construction is scheduled to begin from 4 February, marking an exciting stage in the continued development of the College’s facilities.
