Supporting our community in their faith journey is dynamic business. Young people today face many challenges and our Youth Ministry Team put their Faith into Action on a daily basis. Fra Ruben, Sr Chitra and our Youth Minister Mr Paul Crossley meet with our Student Ministry team each week for fellowship, games and activities, prayer and to plan and organise upcoming College liturgies. With students from Year 7 – 12 involved, it is a great team to join. Throughout the week there are various opportunities for our students to get involved including Tuesday Service activities, Wednesday board games and Thursday Fellowship. All students are welcome to attend and we encourage students to follow the student notices for weekly updates.
This weekend, look out for a Sausage Sizzle at St Denis Parish to welcome in the new school year. That’s going to be on after the 6pm Mass on Sunday 23 February. Our new Year 10 Student Leader Interns will be there to support the Parish and get involved with the festivities. All families are invited to attend.
We started off the year right at Mary MacKillop last weekend as well, having a strong presence at their 9.30am Sunday Mass and the youth gathering afterwards to hangout together. That will be happening on the third Sunday of each month.
