Student Reflections
From opening up about our own major ups and downs in life to having memorable conversations and hilarious moments, the retreat enabled us to connect with students we may not often talk to. This retreat truly allowed us to understand the essence of what it means to be a strong community as we formed stronger relationships with one another. It was delightful to see everyone getting involved in the activities and really making the most of what the retreat had to offer.
Anika Desai (SM2)
Retreat was such an enlightening experience. I learnt so much about my relationship with God. We had the opportunity to engage in deep conversations about our faith with the Youth Missions Team. I was able to deepen my understanding of who God is and how I can relate to myself and others. Overall, the retreat educated me about my Christian faith and my relationship with God, and I will continue to carry the understandings into my future.
Jennifer Fazzari (SC4)
For Year 12 Retreat, we ventured out to three locations for three days of reflection, relaxation and some fun. For us, this retreat was a significant event, as it allowed us to take a break from the busyness of our daily school routine and enabled us to grow in our relationships with ourselves and others.
Claudia Vacca (SC6)
Retreat was a wonderful experience for all Year 12s. The journey allowed us to further build harmony with ourselves, others and God. As we walk around the College with our new Leavers’ jackets, we understand what it means to embody the phrase “Once a Servite, always a Servite”. We would like to thank the Ministry team, Heads of Community, all the teachers who came along and the Youth Mission Team for their preparation and beautiful execution of this life changing event.
