An acrostic poem is a type of poetry where the first, last or other letters in a line spell out a message. In the most common form of an acrostic poem, the first letters of each line spell out the word or topic. Based on topics of their choice, students in Years 7-8 with additional learning needs have created some varied and engaging poems.
