As the College does not conduct any College fundraising events throughout the year, a voluntary contribution for the year of $100 per family is reflected on the fee account. Contributions will be used by the Parents and Friends to run social events, present Guest Speakers and offer community support initiatives for all families and students. The levy will also fund important projects designed to enhance and add to the facilities and resources our students enjoy, i.e. air-conditioning, seating and shade areas.
Tours are a non-compulsory component of the curriculum. Costs will vary and will be communicated prior to the event. These costs will be charged separately.
Individual: $1,215 per annum
Group of two: $590 per annum
$100 per annum
Please note these fees are required to be paid at the beginning of each semester.
An invoice is issued in January reflecting the compulsory school fees for the year. Further statements are forwarded throughout the year and are also available upon request.
Parents may choose one of the following options for payment of fees:
One payment in full with 5% discount (on Tuition Fee only) if paid by 24 March 2023.
Three equal payments to be paid on or before:
9 Monthly instalments to be paid on the last day of the month February to October.
18 Fortnightly instalments March to October.
Each family is requested to select their preferred payment option by completing the forms that will be issued once school has commenced.
Where a family experiences hardship and is unable to meet the schedule of fees set, an appointment is to be made to discuss alternative arrangements by Friday 24 February 2023.
All fee accounts are to be fully paid and finalised by 1 November 2023.
Servite College continues to provide strong, bespoke support for families experiencing financial concerns. I warmly encourage impacted families to contact the College to initiate financial support discussions. Arrangements made between families and the school are confidential. As always, current families are asked to stay in conversation with the College. Families of future students are assured the College will offer financial support in every case where a family is in genuine need.
I affirm that no child will be denied a Catholic Education at Servite due to genuine financial hardship.
Silvana Vicoli
Principal
The following discounts to tuition fees only will apply when siblings are attending the College at the same time:
15% per year for the second child
25% per year for the third child
Nil tuition fees for the fourth child
Additionally, Catholic Primary School siblings receive a discount of $50 per annum. Families are requested to complete and return the sibling discount application form, available here.
To reduce the financial burden that may prevent some families from attending Servite, the College offers a concession pertaining to the annual tuition fee for holders of the Family Health Care Card or Pensioner Discount Card. Families are required to pay the full Resource Fee and IT Levy. Application forms are available from the College Administration Office where eligibility cards must be sighted and copied.
When receiving the Servite Concession Scheme, no other school fee discounts will apply.
The Education Department’s Secondary Assistance Scheme is available to holders of Health Care Cards or Pensioner Concession Cards for students who are not older than 18 years of age in the current calendar year. These forms are available upon request from College Administration Office.
This scheme provides financial assistance towards tuition fees which is sent directly to the College by the Education Department and credited to your account. In addition, a clothing allowance is also available and is credited to your bank account by the Department of Education and Training.
NB: Application Forms must be completed at the College Administration Office for each school year and eligibility cards sighted. The State Government Secondary College Assistance Scheme applications close Friday 7 April 2023.
Our Fee structure and College budget relies heavily on each family paying their account promptly. In justice to families who pay school fees regularly and on time, the College will follow up on all overdue school fee accounts. In cases where reminder notices are ignored or arrangements to meet arrears are not met, the accounts will be referred for legal action to recover the amount outstanding. Any cost associated with the legal collection of fees will be added to the account. Continuance of enrolment cannot be guaranteed unless all outstanding fees and charges have been paid or an alternative arrangement has been made through the Principal.
In every case where a family is in genuine need, the College will endeavour to offer financial support. We therefore request that families requiring financial assistance contact the Accounts Office as a priority.
Please note: Previous payment arrangements cannot be assumed as continuing and must be negotiated at the commencement of the new school year.
In addition to being an educational institution, the College is also a business entity and requires payment of fees in a timely manner. Although Servite College receives some Government Grants, fees constitute a necessary and substantial part of our income. Without the fees and other support from the Parents and Friends, Servite College would not be able to maintain its high standards of resources and facilities.
Families who wish to split their account between two parties must complete the College-approved form, signed by both parties, authorising the account to be divided.
An application fee of $95 must accompany all Applications for Enrolment to the College. The fee covers administration costs and is non-refundable.
Once a place has been offered to a child, there is a non-refundable Acceptance Fee payable of $500. This fee will be credited to your first annual fee account.
Please note that some charges may be subject to GST. The College reserves the right to charge GST and this will be reflected on your fee account where appropriate.
Parents are responsible for any costs incurred as a result of breakage and/or damage of School property by their child.
It is strongly recommended that parents check their health and general insurance policies to ensure adequate current cover that may include health and personal injury, personal property and liability insurance. The College does not accept responsibility for medical expenses arising from accident or illness, loss or damage to personal effects and property or liability incurred by students for injury to others or property damage. Should an emergency necessitate the calling of an ambulance, the associated costs will be the responsibility of the parents.
To withdraw a student from the College, at least one complete term’s notice must be given in writing to the Principal. In the event of one term’s notice not being given, one quarter of the Annual Tuition Fee will be payable.
Servite College acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which the College is located, the Wadjuk people of the Nyungar Nation.
