This week our Year 10 cohort participated in the College’s annual Humanities Market Day, building their skills as entrepreneurs. As part of their Business and Economics assessment, students collaborated in small groups to create a unique business idea, generating and producing a product to sell on Thursday during lunch time. Students were required to conduct market research, design and implement surveys and work through a business model and marketing strategy, including designing logos and running advertising campaigns in the lead up to the event. 2019 Humanities Market Day was filled with an array of products from paella to home made key rings. Profits from the event will be given to a Servite College affiliated charity in the coming weeks.
