Example Timetable
Here is an example of what your timetable will look like. You will receive your own timetable on your first day. It will look similar to this one but will be personalised with your own teachers, rooms and subjects.
Homeroom
Homeroom is the first class of each day. Homeroom is important as it is a time for you to meet with your Homeroom Teacher. Homeroom is an opportunity for you to build positive relationships and develop teamwork skills as you get involved in a range of activities including circles, brain breaks and games that not only build connections but activate the brain to be ‘ready to learn’. Attendance is checked during Homeroom.
SmartRider and College ID Card
The College will order a student SmartRider for all new students. Students will receive their new card in the first few weeks of school – photos are taken at Orientation Day. The reverse of the SmartRider is the College ID card.
This card can be used for:
- Transperth services
- The private Servite school bus
- Printing in the Alexis Research Centre (ARC)
- Purchases at the Servite Cafe
For printing, students all have $2.00 pre-loaded on their card. To add more printing funds, please deposit cash with the ICT Team in the ARC, who will load the funds onto your card.
Transperth
Parents can top up the SmartRider funds on the card via Smartrider Add value methods for use on public buses and trains.
RollCall App
Parents can link the card to West Coast Bus Company’s RollCall app so students can use the private Servite school bus. All parents will receive a welcome email to RollCall close to the start of Year 7.
Flexischools App
Parents can link the card to the Flexischools app so students can pay for items at the Servite Cafe.
Replacement card
If a replacement card is needed, students can place an order at Student Services for $5.00.
Servite Café
Opening Hours
The Servite Café opens every morning for breakfast before school and operates during Breaks 1 and 2. Students may not visit the Café at any other times. Generally there is no pre-ordering at the Café, students simply walk in, choose their items and pay as they exit. If a student has dietary requirements like gluten free or vegetarian, pre-orders can be placed by speaking with Cafe staff.
Cashless Card Payment Option – Flexischools
Flexischools provides an optional cashless card payment system for use at the Servite Café. The Café also accepts cash payments.
The Flexischools cashless card system links a student’s existing StudentID/SmartRider card to a pre-loaded account, giving students the ability to make purchases without cash. Daily spend limits may be set and an automatic top-up option is also available.
Please note that the funds added to the SmartRider for TransPerth or West Coast Bus Company are separate to the funds added to the Flexischools system.
For more information, or to register, go to www.flexischools.com.au.
During the registration process you may be asked to provide a StudentID. This is located on the SmartRider as the Student Number.
For assistance, please call 1300 361 769 or contact help@flexischools.com.au or as your first point of contact.
Any further issues, please contact helpdesk@servite.wa.edu.au.
Lockers And Mobile Phones
Lockers
All students are allocated a locker to store bags and other school resources. All items should be clearly labelled with the student’s name and secured with the College issued padlock.
Students are responsible for keeping their lockers secure, organised and clean. Students must always have their lock on their locker and should never tell anyone their combination. Students must always lock away their valuables (phone, wallet, etc).
If students have any concerns with their locker or lock, or need to purchase a replacement lock, they need to visit Student Reception to speak with their Head of Community.
Mobile Phones
Servite is a mobile phone free school. Phones should not be used or seen once a student is on campus.
- All phones are to be secured in student lockers during the day.
- If a student needs to contact their parent, they can visit Student Services
- Parents are requested to only contact students via mobile phone at the conclusion of the school day, and students can use the ‘after school phone zone’ outside Student Services to check their phone.
- At any other time parents should call Student Services on 6556 7444 for the message to be passed along.
- If a student is feeling unwell, they should attend Student Services, who will contact their parents. Students should not contact parents directly.
Pastoral Care
The Priory System
At Servite, all students and staff belong to one of six Priories (house/faction):
- Annunziata (yellow)
- Senario (black)
- San Clemente (green)
- Saint Mary (blue)
- Our Lady of Sorrows (purple)
- Saint Anthony (red)
Each Priory contains seven Homerooms.
Homeroom
Students remain in the same Homeroom, with the same Homeroom Teacher, throughout their time at the College. Each Homeroom made up of boys and girls from Year 7 to Year 12 so everyone has an opportunity to engage with different year levels. Homeroom runs for the first 10 minutes of each day, and a bit longer on Wednesdays.
Homeroom Teacher
The Homeroom Teacher has the most important role in our Priory system, responsible for providing an environment wherein each student is personally known and valued. The Homeroom Teacher is an advisor and first point of contact for students and families for most
questions or concerns.
Head of Community
Each Priory is guided by a Head of Community (HOC), who is a leader in promoting the care and overall well-being of students. HOCs have a key role in fostering a sense of connection and belonging at the College, promoting a friendly, hospitable and respectful environment.
To support the wellbeing of students as they move through the year levels at the College, Heads of Community liaise with parents, Homeroom Teachers and Heads of Learning Areas in tracking student progress and resolving pastoral issues.
HOCs build Priory spirit and encourage staff and students to become involved in the life of the Priory, coordinate Priory activities, year-level activities and whole school events, as well as the selection of Student Leaders who will work with them to ensure the smooth running of their
Priory.

Servite College Counsellors, Vice Principal and Principal are also available for support.
