Alumni Spotlight: Tabitha Prime (Class of 2015)

My favourite memory from school was my Year 8 Science classes with Mr Wilkes. Not only did he make such a positive impact on my learning experience, but he also made every class fun and interactive. I also had the opportunity to be involved with the leadership program for most of my years at Servite. From being Year group Priory Councillor during my younger years to being the Year 12 Priory Captain for Saint Mary Priory, I learnt many different skills that I was able to apply to my life outside of school. Being involved with leadership also brought a sense of community and belonging to my school years.

I graduated from Curtin University with a Nursing Degree and then worked for 6 years at Perth Children’s Hospital. However, now I am travelling the world as part of the Entertainment Team onboard the Royal Caribbean. I host game shows, dance parties and trivia nights. My main role onboard is ensuring that the guests enjoy their vacation onboard. Currently, I’m on the “Odyssey of the Seas” in Europe for the next 7 months. During my vacation time in Perth, I still work as a nurse at Joondalup Hospital in the NICU.

As well as nursing, whilst I’m on vacation at home, I work as a group fitness instructor at Goodlife Health Clubs and at Lords Recreation Centre. Onboard the ship however, I teach Zumba, Latin dancing classes and water aerobics.

Life has taken me in many different directions. It has shown me that the world holds so much potential for everybody, no matter what path you choose. From university, to now travelling the world onboard cruise ships. I wouldn’t change a thing.
