CLUE On Stage
In Week 3, the Servite College community was transported back to 1954, to a secluded mansion named Boddy Manor, where they were greeted by Wadsworth the butler, Yvette the maid, and six mysterious guests—Colonel Mustard, Mr. Green, Professor Plum, Miss Scarlett, Mrs. White, and Mrs. Peacock—each entangled in a web of blackmail. The production of Clue was a resounding success, featuring a special matinee performance for the Year 8 cohort and Learning Diversity students and two sold-out evening shows.
The cast included Daniel D (Year 11) as the sharp-witted butler Wadsworth, Telea R (Year 10) as the glamorous and mysterious Miss Scarlet, Alex M (Year 8) as the eccentric Professor Plum, Leah J (Year 10) as the mysterious Mrs. White, Rafaelle P (Year 11) as the nervous Mr. Green, Abby A (Year 11) as the dignified Mrs. Peacock, and Nicholas M (Year 12) as the brash Colonel Mustard. Additional roles were brilliantly portrayed by Lanna L (Year 11) as Yvette the French maid, Guadalupe A (Year 7) as Mr. Boddy, Zoe H (Year 8) as The Cook/Motorist, Sanay R (Year 8) as the Agent, and Marilyn W (Year 11) as the Chief of Police.
We were thrilled to have College Principal Silvana Vicoli make a special guest appearance as Mrs. Boddy in Act 2, adding an extra layer of excitement to the production. The performances, held on Monday, July 29th, and Tuesday, July 30th, in Week 3 of Term 3, were a resounding success, leaving the audience captivated and engaged as they tried to figure out WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT.
The experience extended beyond the stage, with guests enjoying popcorn, handmade cookies from the LDC Collective, a photobooth, and a murder mystery virtual reality corner in the foyer. A huge thank you goes out to the cast, crew, and everyone who contributed to bringing this play to life.
This production of Clue: Highschool Edition was a memorable experience for the cast, crew, and audience alike. It brought our school community together, fostering a sense of camaraderie and excitement.
