Congratulations Eva: WA Pulse Exhibition

We are proud to announce that a portrait completed by Eva Doyle has been selected for 2026 West Australian Pulse exhibition. This is a prestigious annual exhibition held at the Art Gallery of WA, that celebrates the most gifted and insightful young student artists in the state.

The selected works provide a window into young people’s private, social and artistic concerns. It is an inspiring, rewarding and insightful look at the world through the minds of the state’s most talented young artists.

The West Australian Pulse 2026 features 63 works by 2025 Year 12 Visual Arts graduates from schools across WA, showcasing the highest calibre of artworks produced across the State.

Eva’s work titled ‘The Unaltered Soul’ is of her grandad who has Parkinson’s disease. Eva wanted to capture that despite his body changing, his soul has remained the same – she did this through focussing on his eyes/gaze.

The work will be exhibited at the Art Gallery of WA from 16 May to 13 September 2026.
