Humanities Week at Servite

Last week, Servite celebrated Humanities Week. Each lunchtime, students took part in a range of fun and engaging Humanities-themed games and challenges that showcased creativity, knowledge, and teamwork.

The week began on Tuesday with teams competing in a lively game of The Price is Right, where students tested their judgement by estimating the prices of everyday items.
Wednesday saw students unleash their creativity in Innovation Tank, where they were given a random everyday object and challenged to transform it into something innovative and practical. They then pitched their ideas to the audience in a Shark Tank-style showdown.

On Thursday, students embarked on a virtual journey around the globe through GeoGuessr, using their geographical skills to identify mystery locations from around the world. Congratulations to Evan Costelloe, who claimed back-to-back championship honours.

To finish the week in style, Friday featured a highly anticipated History Quiz, with students taking on their teachers in a closely contested battle of historical knowledge. In the end, the teachers narrowly secured victory by just a single point.

A huge thank you to all the students and staff who participated and helped make Humanities Week such a memorable success. We hope everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the prizes on offer.
