Rocket League Champions

Yesterday the College competed in the prestigious Fuse Cup eSports competition held at Methodist Ladies’ College. Our Year 8 gamers, Team 1 – Sam (SA1) and Archie (SA5), and Team 2 – Odysseas (SA4) and Josh (SA4), showcased their gaming skills in the classic computer game, Rocket League.

After losing the first round, the teams turned things around and progressed to the semi-finals, where they took on tournament favourites Swan Valley.

It was a tense battle, but both teams walked away as winners and have been invited to compete at the National Titles later this year on the Gold Coast!

Thank you to Mr Jelaska and all the Servite gamers who participated in the tournament and for displaying such camaraderie and sportsmanship to all participants.

We look forward to seeing more students compete in future eSports tournaments.
