2025 Servite Day
In Week 5, the College celebrated its annual Servite Day, a much-anticipated highlight of the school year! The day was filled with fun, laughter, and a strong sense of community, reminding us of the values that bring us together.
The celebrations began with a Homeroom Challenge, where each group was tasked with designing their very own superhero. Armed with newspaper, tissue paper, and other craft materials, students let their imaginations run wild to create some truly incredible outfits. It was fantastic to see everyone embrace the challenge with such enthusiasm and creativity and we were amazing with all the amazing designs!
Next, the College gathered at Grenville Oval for the traditional Memorial Football Match, held in honour of the cherished members of our community who are no longer with us. The match began with a respectful minute of silence, followed by a spirited game between teams of staff and students. It was a competitive and determined performance from both sides, and we’re thrilled to congratulate the Servite Team on their first-ever win!
Following the match, Year 12 students had the opportunity to get creative with their costumes and students and staff enjoyed the ever-popular Homeroom Stalls, offering an array of food, treats, fun games, raffles, and activities. A crowd favourite, the dunk tank, made a return, with several brave staff members volunteering for a good cause!
The day concluded with a crowd-pleasing ‘Servite’s Got Talent’ show, featuring a lineup of bands, singers, and more. The audience was treated to a special dance performance by the Year 12 Leaders, adding an unforgettable touch to the event.
