Spirit of the Arts Festival Opening

Last week, our Arts Captains attended Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral to mark the opening of the Spirit of the Arts Festival. The Mass was celebrated by the Most Reverend Bishop Donald Sproxton, Auxiliary Bishop of Perth.

The Mass provided a beautiful opportunity for Catholic schools across Western Australia to gather as one community in prayer, celebrating not only the festival itself but also recognising the Arts as a gift from God, entrusted to us to be shared with others.

Through the sharing of our gifts and talents, we invite others to experience beauty and creativity, while also pointing beyond the artwork or performance to the Creator God, from whom all gifts come.

We wish all of our students participating in the Spirit of the Arts Festival over the coming weeks every success. May they enjoy the opportunity to share their talents with confidence and joy, inspiring others through the gifts God has given them.
