St Juliana Feast Day

Today, the Servite College community gathered to celebrate the Feast Day of St Juliana Falconieri, one of the Patron Saints of our College. Mass was celebrated by Fra Peter and Fra Albert, and we were delighted to welcome our Servite Sisters, Sr Chitra, Sr Cecily and Sr Pauline, who joined us for this special occasion.

Following Mass, Sr Chitra shared what St Juliana means to her, reflecting on Juliana’s deep love of God and devotion to Mary. She spoke about how St Juliana dedicated her life to serving the poor and marginalised people of Florence, bringing hope, compassion and justice to those in need.

Our Head Boy and Head Girl then reminded us that, as we focus on the theme of Respect in Community this year, St Juliana provides a powerful example of someone who strengthened her community through empathy, compassion and understanding. Her life challenges us to ensure that every person in our Servite community feels welcomed, valued and respected.
