Try A Trade

Over the past three days, our Year 10 students have been busy taking part in our Trial Trade program, gaining hands-on experience in bricklaying and carpentry.

Students put their new skills to the test by building a brick column wall and constructing decking at the College pergola — impressive projects that showcased teamwork, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship.

The program gave students an incredible opportunity to explore potential career pathways in the trades while developing valuable practical and problem-solving skills. It was fantastic to see their confidence grow and their enthusiasm shine through every task.
