Workplace Learning

Topic Learning
Date June 22, 2026

Over Weeks 6 and 7 this term, our Year 11 and 12 Workplace Learning students have been gaining valuable real-world experience across a wide range of industries, including automotive, beauty, childcare, education, retail, hospitality, surveying, and building and construction.

The Workplace Learning Program provides students with the opportunity to develop practical skills, explore potential career pathways, and experience the expectations of the workplace firsthand.

Throughout their placements, students work towards completing 55 hours, which can contribute towards their WACE achievement.

We extend our sincere thanks to our host employers for their generosity, guidance, and ongoing support of our students. Your willingness to share your time and expertise helps make this program possible.

A special thank you to Mrs Sarita Rodricks for her dedication in coordinating placements and working closely with employers to ensure another successful Workplace Learning experience.

Most importantly, congratulations to our students for embracing the opportunity, stepping outside their comfort zones, and representing Servite College with pride. We hope this experience has provided valuable insights and inspiration for your future pathways.
