In term 1, our Year 10 students held their annual Market Day as part of their Humanities unit, turning the school into a vibrant hub of creativity and enterprise.
Working in groups, students developed their own business ideas from the ground up – planning their products, organising equipment, and promoting their stalls with eye-catching posters displayed around the school in the lead-up to the event.

On the day, students set up their stalls and welcomed the lunchtime rush! From jumbo cookies and burgers to raffles, games, milkshakes, and face painting, there was something for everyone. A crowd favourite was the ever-popular “Throw the Sponge at the Teacher,” which drew plenty of laughs and eager participants.
Beyond the fun, Market Day provided a valuable hands-on learning experience, helping students build skills in teamwork, budgeting, marketing and customer service.
And over $2,800 was made for Caritas!
Well done to all our Year 10 students on a highly successful and engaging Market Day! 👏
