Year 11 ATAR Geography – McDonald’s Excursion

Last week our Year 11 ATAR Geography students explored the globalisation of goods in action with a visit to McDonald’s!

As part of their Unit 2 depth study, the group met Terry, the store’s franchisee, who shared insights into his career and what it takes to run a global fast-food chain at the local level.

Students got a behind-the-scenes look at the operations, conducted fieldwork observations, and even enjoyed a bite to eat afterwards. A sunny walk there and back made for the excursion!
