Year 11 Retreat

This term, our Year 11 students took part in a two-day retreat focused on teamwork, leadership, and living out our Servite values.

Day 1 saw students take on an Amazing Race adventure around the city – completing team challenges and solving puzzles along the way. Interspersed with workshops on Servant Leadership, the day was both enjoyable and competitive, as students worked together to think, lead, and serve in creative ways.

Day 2 began with a powerful presentation from a Vinnies guest speaker, Hannah Taylor, who shared about the vital work they do and the ongoing issue of homelessness in Western Australia.

Students then explored our Servite Charism and values through interactive activities led by Corporate Challenges. In one highlight, students built LEGO structures symbolising our Servite story – and generously donated LEGO sets to Radio Lollipop, helping bring joy to children at Perth Children’s Hospital.

The retreat concluded with a design thinking project, where students developed ideas for service initiatives to bring to life in 2026 as Year 12 leaders.
