YEAR 8 COASTAL EXCURSION

“Throughout the Term in Humanities, the Year Eights have been learning about Coastal Landscapes and Processes’.

On the 20th of May, we went on a fieldtrip to Trigg Beach for our Coastal Landscapes and Process’s Assessment . We walked from Trigg Beach to Sorrento Beach with a total of six Kilometers.

Along the way with our amazing teachers there to guide us, we learnt so much and even though we were very tired, the teachers helped us persevere by telling us that we would stop for a rest soon – although we only stopped and sat down once!

We had a beautiful hands-on experience learning both about the serene sea God has given us, to the beautiful landforms and process’s that we had been eagerly awaiting to see.

We all had an amazing time, and we give many thanks to the teachers that helped organise the excursion to the teachers that accompanied us on the excursion, thank you all for the amazing effort that you have put in for us.”
