Year 8 Coastal Walk

On Tuesday of Week 4, the Year 8 cohort headed to the coast for an exciting Geography excursion focused on investigating coastal landscapes and landforms. Students walked sections of the coastline between Trigg Beach and Sorrento Beach, observing a variety of coastal features and discussing how natural processes shape the environment over time.

Throughout the day, students completed field sketches of the Perth coastline, participated in a range of team activities, and applied the knowledge they have been learning in class to real-world environments.

The excursion provided a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with the local coastal environment, develop their observation skills, and enjoy a day of hands-on learning outdoors.
