Sweet Success for Year 9 Entrepreneurs

This term, the Year 9 Business and Accounting students in Ms Charleson and Ms Dimascio’s classes applied their learning in a practical business project.

Working in small groups, students designed, marketed and sold brownies during recess in Week 8, competing to achieve the strongest sales performance.

The event was a great success, with large crowds of students lining up to purchase brownies and one group selling out within the first five minutes. The project not only demonstrated students’ enterprise and teamwork skills but also raised a significant amount of money, which will be donated to a charitable cause.
