Year 11 Dinner Dance

Topic Community
Date May 3, 2023

On Friday, 28 April the Year 11 students spent the night at AQWA for their Dinner Dance. Everybody looked very classy with the girls in long beautiful dresses with sparkly makeup and the boys in sharp dress pants with their shirts actually tucked in for once!

We started the evening with a lovely scenic walk through the aquarium, surrounded by various shades of blue and luminous, multicoloured sea life. Mrs McAuliffe and Mr Wilkes spent the night walking around with cameras, snapping photos of the smiling students to commemorate the night.

The set up of the restaurant floor was full of tables, with blue and silver balloon centrepieces and people lined up for the Photo Booth all night, covering themselves with props such as feather boas, fancy hats and sunglasses.

The DJ kept students dancing the entire time, and I’m sure most girls can relate when I say that I was definitely regretting the heels. Ms Pagnoni and Mr Wilkes, as well as Ms Vicoli and the school, did an incredible job in the organisation of the event.

The night was filled with laughter, dancing and photos, and it was a great precursor for next year’s ball.
