iServi News | 29 November 2019 | Term 4, Week 7
Over the past five weeks our Year 8 Food Technology class has been learning to prepare suitable foods for special occasions. On Tuesday 26 November and Thursday 28 November we hosted an Afternoon Tea for special members of the Servite community, including our families and Servite staff. Our Afternoon Tea menu included sausage rolls, mini quiches, scones, raspberry muffins and ANZAC biscuits.
We invited guests and met them on their arrival at the gate of the Montorsoli Block. After welcoming our guests to share in Servite hospitality, we made sure everyone had coffee, juice and water to drink. Our event became a genuine success when we saw all the parents smiling and mingling with each other.
We especially thank all the parents and teachers who came along to our Afternoon Tea. As a class we had a lot of fun and it was a great team effort!
