On Roman Day last Friday we dressed up like a Roman and learnt about how their life was, compared to ours. They didn’t have the utensils back then that we have today. It was hard for them to cook and to do activities like we do. Then we toured different classrooms to learn about different activities the Romans did. At recess, we had Roman foods like salami, ham, cheese, crackers, olives, grapes and much more. It was so delicious.
Next we went into the ARC and completed a Roman-style Amazing Race. We had to go around the Alexis building, complete activities and every time we would complete an activity we received a puzzle piece. The first one to get the puzzle all done to the teacher was the winner and got a prize. It was so fun to work as a team in groups. We had a blast!
