Saint Mary Feast Week
What a great celebration this week has been. On Tuesday, we started our celebration with a beautiful Mass at Saint Kieran’s Church with many students volunteering to participate and make this a spiritual focus for the other activities that followed. Our Lady Help of Christians is our patroness and provides a great role model for our Priory.
The students and staff gathered for a delicious sausage sizzle that was prepared by two wonderful parents – Antonella Crupi and Peter Sigle. I would like to thank both of them for their tireless efforts in preparing our lunch.
On Thursday, all of the Servite staff gathered to share a magnificent morning tea that was prepared by our very own Saint Mary staff – quite an extravaganza of dishes was on offer.
The celebrations ended during Break 2 yesterday with a number of Saint Mary students showcasing their talents in a variety of ways from singing through to acrobatics. Their efforts were something to be proud of and I hope that they will be encouraged to perform more often.
I would like to everyone for their support of our Saint Mary Priory focus this week – it truly was a memorable occasion.
