iServi News | 26 November 2021 | Term 4, Week 7
Artists are constantly looking at ways to redefine their work, often marrying traditional art forms with contemporary technology to make Art more accessible on a global scale.
This year, complementing our physical Art Showcase, we are carrying on from the success of last year’s Virtual Art Exhibition and today we launch another diverse collection available for everyone to view online. What we learnt from 2020 was that creating a virtual online ‘Art’ space meant that student artwork could now be viewed not just by our immediate community, but also by relatives, friends and the wider community both interstate and worldwide.
Once again, work on display is taken from Years 7 to 12, featuring the final ATAR pieces from the Year 11s and 12s as well as some beautiful paintings and sculptures by Year 9s and 10s. The Year 8s had a lot of fun creating Pop Art Food out of clay and the Year 7 Aboriginal-style paintings are particularly strong.
You can access this year’s exhibition here.
