VET Off Campus
Throughout 2022, eighty five of our Year 11 and 12 students will leave the Servite campus once a week to pursue their customised Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways.
Following a rigorous selection process, these students now have the opportunity to complete nationally recognised qualifications at Cert II, III, IV and Diploma level through their regular attendance at TAFE or Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
The cohort attended an Induction Session with the College Pathways Team this week, in preparation for their VET Off Campus programs to commence.
Students are excited to learn the required knowledge and relevant skills, whilst pursuing qualifications across 28 different industry areas.
The Pathways Team is proud to have worked closely with students, families and training providers to deliver on personalised learning at Servite.
We have established partnerships with a variety of training providers to design pathways tailored to our students’ strengths and interests.
Our partners include:
- College of Electrical Training
- Diamond Fitness
- Fremantle Education Centre
- Health Science Hub
- Mount Pleasant College
- Master Plumbers and Painters
- Motor Trade Association of WA
- North Metropolitan TAFE
- South Metropolitan TAFE
Students and families are welcome to visit the Pathways Office near the College Cafe or to contact me via email to nerida.williams@servite.wa.edu.au if they wish to discuss VET opportunities.
