In our class we had to disassemble a computer, identity its different parts, as well as find the inputs and outputs, of the computer. It was really enjoyable to just disassemble and pull apart a computer and to see what was inside. I found it really easy to take apart the computer which was very surprising.

In class I learnt how to not only disassemble but also reassemble a computer. I also found out how to identify the different parts of a computer that make it work. It was really fun to be able to pull apart a computer, but it was also interesting to see and learn about all the different components in the computer.

In class today we took apart a computer. I found it really fun to pull the stuff in the computer apart. It was a little bit tricky but I got the hang of it towards the end. It was interesting to see how the the stuff inside of the computer, and how it makes the computer work.

In class we took apart a computer which I found really fun. I thought the things inside that were wrapped around with wire were lifesavers, but they were actually a part of the computer. We made a video on what we learnt from the activity, and I had a lot of fun identifying the different parts of the computer. We managed to get the computer open pretty easily and we were also able to open the hard drive of the computer. I really enjoyed being able to pull apart and unscrew a computer for a lesson, and at the end there were millions of screws loose!

For the past two weeks in Digital Technologies we have been taking apart and investigating what is inside a computer and how it works. We have learnt about the jobs of the different parts of a computer and the things that every computer needs, such as an input, output, CPU and memory/storage. This week we have been making our own computer models out of Play-Doh, paper and card, and putting into our own words how they work.
