Student Reflections
Our Rottnest Island experience was memorable, as we got to meet new friends, explore new places and try new things. Upon arrival we were handed our bikes and our helmets. We then drove our bikes to the destination where we would leave our bags, phones and food. It was about a 20-minute bike ride, but we loved every second of it! We were then given a map which we had to find all the landmarks which were hidden all over the island. Once everyone got back, we all went to play some mini golf.
Once we had finished our food, we got to relax for a while. Everyone got changed into their bathers, mask, snorkel and flippers. Everyone had a great time in the water, and some people even saw some fish and other small animals. Our experience in Rottnest was amazing.

Orienteering was a great way for the students to explore the island in our small groups and even see a few quokkas along the way. We finished off this great day by snorkelling. This was great as the water was refreshing and cooled us all down from a long day of riding our bikes. We also got to see some cool fish.
Overall our day at Rottnest island was very fun and exciting as we gained some new skills and had a great time with our friends and teachers.
