On Tuesday 1 June, Servite College FlexiTrack students travelled to Murdoch University for a campus visit. The purpose of the day was to emulate the life of an everyday university student, discovering our transportation methods, learning the various areas of the campus and further clarifying our pathways and choices.
The day included finding lecture theatres, hearing about career pathways and how a degree and other life factors influence future work choices. Other activities included consolidating academic writing skills such as paraphrasing and referencing.
Highlights included engaging with university campus culture, navigating the spaces independently and the food choices.
