iServi News | 2 December 2022 | Term 4, Week 8
Week 8
Our senior student leaders recently attended their Leadership Camp to prepare for 2023. Supported by Mr John Power, Ms Alice Potter and a large group of staff mentors, our students demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the College community as they brainstormed ideas for the future of our school.
I was honoured to be involved in the feedback session where students presented their ideas to the College Executive for consideration as part of the planning process for next year. The students spoke with enthusiasm about continuing to nurture an inclusive school where people care for one another. Our senior student leaders are to be congratulated for living our Servite Charisms, supporting our College Vision and for sharing their thoughtful planning with us. We look forward to the positive impact that our senior student leaders will have in our community next year.
As always, we encourage all students to lead their own learning experiences and accept the challenge of involving themselves fully in the many different pathways and opportunities available at Servite.
College Awards Night
The annual Servite College Awards Night will take place in the College Gymnasium on Tuesday 6 December commencing at 6.30pm. The evening is always a very special one in the life of the College as we reflect upon our experiences this year and celebrate outstanding student performance. Livestream details will be distributed tomorrow.
