Everyone is invited to support our Gold Coast Volleyball team’s final fundraiser.
Not long now before our eight dedicated volleyball students and their three accompanying staff pack their bags and jet set to the sunshine coast for nine days competing at the biggest school volleyball tournament in the southern hemisphere.
The Australian Volleyball Schools Cup (AVSC) is held on the Gold Coast in December and final preparations are underway. This includes our final fundraiser to facilitate this incredible opportunity for our Year 8/9 competitors. We have had some great success in our previous three fundraising initiatives; the local matters jar at Grill’d Leederville during the month of October, and two Bunnings sausage sizzles over the last school holidays.
Our final Bunnings sausage sizzle will be conducted tomorrow, Saturday 23 November, at Bunnings Osborne Park located on Main Street.
We will be setting up from 7.00am and selling right through to 4.00pm and as always, we encourage our Servite community to get behind our girls in their bid to represent our College and volleyball on a national stage. If you’ve been thinking about completing some home or garden projects, or are simply within the area, please pop by and buy a sausage sizzle in support of our students.
We wish our students and parent helpers all the best tomorrow, and in the lead up to departure on Friday 6 December.
