Year 11 Materials Design and Technology

The Year 11 Materials Design and Technology class are completing a practical project with a theme of Light and Reflection. Students have researched existing design themes such as Pop Art, Cubism, Minimalism and Modernism and attempted to apply their understanding within their practical projects.

Over the past few weeks, students have been able to design a unique product using varying wood resources and machinery. It has been great seeing students take advantage of the laser cutter to create complex designs for their work. Student products are scheduled to be completed by the end of the Term.
