Alumni Spotlight: James Thomson-Boston (Class of 2009)

My favourite memory from school was NAS after school sports where Servite’s Basketball Team went on an unbeaten 5-year run!

In 2016, I moved from Perth to London where I now work at two very different jobs. I’m the producer of the UK’s Best Radio Show, Capital Breakfast, waking up every day at 4am to entertain the nation. I’ve been lucky enough to meet a fair few celebrities including Sabrina Carpenter, Adam Sandler and Cameron Diaz.

I’m also the Captain of the English Men’s Netball squad – The England Thorns. Although I started playing Wing Defence for the West Coast Thunder back in Perth, I’m now playing Centre for England around the world.

Both of these jobs keep me fairly busy but have allowed me to travel the world. I’ve been to the United States, Italy and Spain with my breakfast show and the Caribbean, New Zealand and Ireland with Netball.

In my final year at Servite College, I had the opportunity to be part of the student leadership team as I was a co-Captain for Senario Priory.
