On Friday 27 October we invited past staff and students to join us for a special evening to celebrate 50 Years since becoming Western Australia’s first co-educational Catholic secondary school, and what a special night it was.
Over 350 alumni gathered in the Piazza and were treated to a Memory Lane walk in the lower Alexis building as well as special guided tours led by our current Year 11 students.
It was also a great opportunity to celebrate not just this significant milestone, but also recognise the history that stretches back to when the school was known as St Philip’s Regional School for Boys.
The Memory Lane exhibit consisted of photos from throughout the decades, a timeline of the school’s history, special milestone events, past and current uniforms and memorabilia on display such as old trophies, pins, honour boards and more.
It was great to see a good mix of alumni from every decade attend starting from the 50s! With many spotting themselves or family members throughout the Memory Lane exhibit.
The night proved to us how Servite has always been more than a place of learning; it’s a place where lifelong friendships have been made.
Thank you to our alumni for celebrating with us, we feel honoured to share this special occasion with you.
Once a Servite, Always a Servite!
