The Outdoor Education Department hosted a NAIDOC inspired fire building and cooking session this week.
Students learnt how to start, build and maintain all from a flint start. Barramundi and Crocodile was seasoned with Native Saltbush and wrapped in paperbark – cooked traditionally on the hot coals.
Emu, Kangaroo, Barramundi, King George Whiting and Damper ( infused with Lemon Myrtle and Kakadu Plum) were on the menu and enjoyed by all!
Thank you to Ms Fogliani for organising such a wonderful experience.
