Year 10 Drama & Dance Presents: SIX QUEENS

A collaboration that explores the life of King Henry VIII & his six wives – Set in modern times at a grand old, haunted palace, where King Henry VIII and his wives once lived. Curious teenagers are tempted to explore the grounds, that is until the ghosts of King Henry VIII and his SIX QUEENS appear to tell their stories. With a modern soundtrack, this historically adapted story comes to life.

The students in Year 10 Drama & Dance have been working hard in class to put this show together as either, actor, dancer, lighting/sound designer, or costume designer and we are proud of them as they performed to an audience of family and friends. By having a live audience to perform to allowed the students to develop and demonstrate their performance skills including appropriate expression, focus and projection, characterisation, commitment to voice and movement, and musicality.
