Year 12 Biology: Perth Hills Discovery Centre

In Week 7, the Year 12 Biology class visited the Perth Hills Discovery Centre to learn more about Phythophthora dieback, an infectious disease that affects over 40% of plant species in the south-west.

Students had the opportunity to administer a phosphite-based medicine to jarrah trees, before learning more about other methods to prevent the spread of this deadly disease.
