“On the 11th of September Prof Tati’s Italian classes walked down to Caffè Amaretto and enjoyed a delicious, authentic Italian lunch.
We had a starter of garlic bread, and then got a choice of different types of pizza and pasta. Then to finish off we had some gelato. It was great to also hear the workers at the caffe speak Italian to us throughout the afternoon.
It was a really good experience with my classmates, and we had a fun time together. We walked back just in time for the bell and were lucky enough to have sunshine the whole day.
Learning Italian and about the Italian culture has been really interesting and fun over the past three years and I am looking forward to continuing with Italian throughout high school.
Thank you, Prof Tati, for organising this excursion for us and Prof Millimaci for joining us.”
