FUSE Cup Win for Servite

This year Servite College has been participating in an eSport competition called The FUSE Cup. Today our students participated in the State Final for Years 7 & 8 competing in Mario Cup.

This all day event was held at Methodist Ladies College (MLC) with students not only competing against other schools but also learning about how to be safe online, the role of e-Safety Commissioner when there is a concern for students in an online environment as well as the importance of balancing gaming with positive physical wellbeing.

Thomas Pettina, Isaac Smokrovic, Lucas Gibson and Michael Pezzano represented the College admirably and achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in a clean sweep of the competition!

Thomas Pettina achieved an outstanding first place and the title of WA State Champion Mario Kart 2023. Thomas has also been awarded a golden ticket to compete in the eSports Australian titles in October later this year.
