My favourite memory from my time at Servite was discovering my passion for baking through home economics and realising that I really could turn my passion into a career if I wanted to. Also, being a priory leader for St Anthony in my final year. It was my first insight into leadership and I loved every bit.
I currently live in Perth, not far from Servite actually, with my partner and 3 dogs! I own and run 2 businesses, Crumbs Patisserie (Applecross) and Crumbs in the Wall (Osborne Park). In between a busy day to day life, I also run masterclasses in all things pastry and am currently studying to be a Lecturer. Exciting things are happening with my current store in Osborne Park so be sure to keep an eye out over the next month!
After studying for 4 years in Perth, my career took me all over England and Europe working for some of the best Chefs and Michelin star restaurants in the world such as Heston Blumenthal’s 3 Michelin star restaurant – The Fat Duck. At the age of 20, I worked and lived abroad for 5 years and was able to experience some amazing countries, meet so many talented chefs and create everlasting memories.
In 2023, I was awarded WA’s Young Entrepreneur of the year and in 2024, I shared the demonstration stage with award winning chefs at the Good Food and Wine Show and was also announced as one of the TOP 50 business leaders in Australia. (Still can’t believe it to this day!)
Now, at almost 30 years of age (Eeeeep!), I am enjoying the success of my hard work and look forward to the next stage of my life, whatever that may be!
