Topic Community
Date March 28, 2024

As we say goodbye to the first term of 2024, I wanted to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our students, parents, and staff for making it such a fantastic start to the year. It has been an exciting term filled with learning, growth, and many memorable moments.  Despite the initial warmer weather that greeted us at the beginning of term, necessitating some adjustments to our planned activities, I am thrilled to say that it has been an outstanding term overall. Our collective resilience and adaptability have truly shone through, allowing us to navigate any challenges with grace and creativity.

To all those who have recently joined our community this year, I hope you have felt the genuine sense of welcome and community that defines Servite College. You are very welcome here and  we are glad you decided to join us.

As we enter the Easter season, it holds particular significance for our Catholic community at Servite College. Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, and spiritual growth, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It serves as a reminder of the values of compassion, forgiveness, and hope that lie at the heart of our faith. During this sacred time, let us pause to contemplate the profound teachings of Easter and how they resonate in our daily lives. May the spirit of Easter inspire us to extend kindness and generosity to others, fostering a sense of unity and empathy within our community. Let us come together in prayer and celebration, reaffirming our commitment to living out the teachings of Christ in all that we do.

Cape Street Pedestrian Crossing

Further to the email that was sent out to all parents and caregivers this week, we’d like to highlight the importance of students using the pedestrian crossing on Cape Street. We are always ensuring we communicate road safety to all students and would appreciate these conversations are held at home as well.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to working together to ensure the safety of our community.
