Over two days, Servite College welcomed 160 Year 3 Primary School students as they engaged in some exciting and fun STEM activities. The sessions, led by a wonderful team of Science, Technologies and Maths teachers, encouraged the students to think critically, creatively and innovatively as they worked collaboratively to develop a sense of entrepreneurship.
The students were challenged to create a successful catapult to launch a ping pong ball using only the provided materials as part of our Epic Siege. The classrooms were abuzz with energy and enthusiasm as the young students worked busily on their masterpieces.
They were supported during the activities by our fantastic Year 7 Councillors and the day culminated with a competitive launch of the catapults.
Congratulations to all students involved and we hope your passion for STEM has been ignited during your visit to Servite College.
