Danza dei Servi Excellence Award Winners

On Friday 30th August our Danza dei Servi dance troupe performed at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre as part of the Performing Arts Festival for Catholic Schools and Colleges in the Secondary Dance section.
Danza dei Servi performed a modern take on the special and historical tale of our Servite story that highlighted our Italian origins, our continued connection to Mary and how as Servite’s we live our lives dedicated to serving others. The adjudicators were thoroughly entertained by the piece and said “the intersection of culture, history, dance and religion was great and eclectic”.
Danza dei Servi was recognised with an Excellence Award for their performance. These awards are given to exceptional performances that demonstrate: Entertainment value, Aesthetic appeal, Evocative/reflective/profound performance and Originality.
