Year 7 Computing & Lego Club
Einstein once famously quipped: ‘Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.’ And Lego encapsulates this mantra better than anything else.
The Year 7’s introduction to computing at Servite involved designing the main components of a computer system from Lego blocks. As the pictures demonstrate the Year 7’s enjoyed the ability to use their imagination to capture the logic, precision and intricacy of computer systems.
LEGO CLUB
Servite College is a proud and active participant in Lego competitions held throughout the year – and received a trophy of distinction last year in the First Lego League tournament.
Once again, the College will be running an after-school Lego Club in the Montorsoli building (MO07) on Wednesday from 3.30-4.30pm from Term 1 Week 7 (15th March) – all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend.
